Key Lock Boxes - The Hassles without One
When you refuse the idea of placing a key key lock boxes to seal the key to your home - you’re like inviting burglars and crooks to easily break in your home and in the long run, you put yourself into so much hassle (especially when you’re about to sell your home). Trouble number one: without a key lock boxes you have to be around when a potential buyer comes by with their real estate agent to open the house up (believe me, this instance could be quite awkward for the buyer and you wouldn’t want that, do you?). Of course, you have the option to leave your door unlocked – which is plain stupidity by today’s security standards. Another alternative is to give a key to your listing agent – passing the burden to the listing agent as he/she would always have to be present when another agent brought a buyer to the home. By doing so, showings would have to be tightly-scheduled – definitely an inconvenience for you, for the listing agent you’ve placed in charge of your house’s key, the buyer’s real estate agent and ultimately – to the buyer itself.
