Cold weather is the time for Chicken Stew
During the winter I enjoy making chicken stew. It is a hit among my family and usually provides enough food for at least two meals. Chicken stew is also a cheap meal to make. The chicken is slow cooked so you do not necessarily need to worry about the cut of the chicken, you can even buy a pre-cooked chicken and pull it apart. A chicken stew requires a box of chicken broth but other than that you most likely have all the other ingredients. Look in your fridge and pull out your vegetables, basically any vegetable can be put in the stew. If you want to make a thicker stew add cut up potatoes or add a type of pasta to the boiling soup before serving.
