The shape, self-cleaning mechanism and battery life of the Braun Pulsonic 90595 shaver — reviewed
There are a couple of features of the Braun Pulsonic 9595 shaver that are worth commenting on. Both of them give this shaver an edge.First, the shape and the self-cleaning system. Braun has a range of good-looking razors, and the Pulsonic 9595 is right up there with the best of them. It’s sleek and fits pretty well in the hand. Gone are the days when an electric shaver was a block with rounded edges. Today you get ergonomic contours and a lot of science and design.The Pulsonic also cleans itself. They mechanism for this is quite cunning. It shakes out the whiskers left behind, lubricates the moving parts that matter, dries itself and charges — at the touch of a button. Couldn’t be easier.Second feature — it can be operated with either a battery or a cord. Just running on the battery, it will last for nearly one hour (55 minutes, according to the manufacturer.) Which makes it good for several weeks of shaving. Perhaps even a whole month, if your beard is thin and not too tough. And it is unlikely you’ll ever be caught short, since it uses a lithium-ion battery that takes just an hour to charge.
