I’m old enough to remember a time when cars didn’t have radios let alone the comprehensive car stereo systems we see today. We didn’t know any better so we simply accepted that was how things were.
Today when you drive your car you can play the radio, play cds or play mp3s from a tiny portable mp3 player or plugging a memory stick loaded with music into your car stereo system. We have come a long way.
Some people seem to get so excited by their music that they fill their cars with speakers. It may look cool but if your trunk is full of speakers where do you put the luggage? We need to balance our enthusiasm for the stereo with the practical matter of using the car to transport things.
