So, you think you can dance?

Most teenage girls love to dance.  They have access to MTV and other music video sites on the Internet, so they can see the latest moves, etc.  Some even take it seriously enough to get their parents to allow them to take lessons.  They want to be cool.  If your daughter is performing in a dance competition, she’ll probably be requiring an outfit.  Sounds easy enough, right?  Wrong.  Teen dancewear is not always easy to find.  Why is this, you might ask?  Well, simply put, fashion is constantly changing.  It is something we can never seem to keep up with although we try; and face it, when you’re a teenager, all you seem to care about is how you look.  If you’re shopping for teen dancewear, make sure you do your homework.  Shop around at different stores and vendors to find out what they’re charging so that you can make a more well-informed decision.  Also, make sure that your daughter really tries on the outfit. Translation: allow her to practice a couple of her dance moves with the outfit on to test out its flexibility, etc.  It’ll benefit the both of you in the end.
