Self-Taught
My nephew just recently bought himself his very own guitar. I believe it does both acoustic and electric styles. He is getting great by practicing for hours each day. My nephew started out by using some self-teaching books in order to get all of the different notes and chords down. Now he is interested in taking some lessons for an actual teacher. I suggested that he start some metal guitar lessons, because that is his favorite style of music to listen to. I think that it would be neat for him to be able to play all of his favorite songs.
